Come join us for a journey back in time when women couldn't vote in political elections as we delve into the story of the Belfast Suffragettes. Learn about the courageous women who came to Belfast to campaign for the right to vote and the ones who went from here to England and Scotland to do the same. If you wondered what your great granny was doing in Belfast in the 1910's you might just find out as this walking tour tells the story of the Suffragettes in Belfast, those women who were described by the newspapers as "well-dressed hooligans"!
